In the Luthier Chronicle #4, the Finish luthier Juha Ruokangas explained how and why he uses thermo treated wood in his instrument. As this process is suppose to at least partially replicate the aging process on the wood I asked Juha what was to expect from the guitar built with this wood: will they keep on aging normally? Are they even better than the one done with regular woods?

Juha Ruokangas était l'un des luthiers que je voulais vraiment rencontrer lors du Holy Grail Guitar Show, c'est pourquoi j'ai été ravi de faire une interview 45min vidéo avec lui. Avec Ruokangas, Juha a établi une marque de manière très forte dans le monde de la guitare, j'avais donc des tonnes de questions à lui poser.

En outre, il venait de terminer une semaine plus tôt un long projet de 3 ans avec la guitare Capitaine Némo (voir ci-dessous) alors il y avait beaucoup à dire.
